About Melinda.
My philosophy on training and consulting is founded upon a holistic process of experiential learning, where emotional, analytical, practical, and dynamic elements, strategically engage “whole brain” thinking, and serve the whole person. I believe learning is optimal when each basic learning type is attended to through intentional design and facilitation of information.
To embrace the process of learning is to embrace, and value, the diversisty, education, and lived experience, of each learner. In doing so, an environment is created where ambiguity, confusion, and uncertainty are called into existence, and able to shift towards understanding, evaluation, and development.
I believe the possibility for a healthy organizational ecosystem can exist under mindful, empathetic, and conscious leadership, where feedback is invited, encouraged, and champions organizational change. And it is through authenticity, honesty, direct and assertive feedback, that conflict, challenges, and confusion are rightfully positioned as inevitable, notifications of nurture, and therefore opportunities to envision a new way forward.
